He makes toys, models or objects that are not for sale in the store himself. Only during the pandemic did he find time to fully reflect on his future as a sculptor and the final form that his work should take. All sculptures are handmade to scale in clay, then digitally scanned and reproduced in large format using the highest quality 3D resin printer. This process is known as \u201creverse engineering\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: left;\">Machiel's fascination with vintage toys from his youth is echoed in his sculptures.
