Chiel studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His specialty is the Amsterdam cityscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He puts his subject on the canvas with speed and vitality and gives his own twist to this age-old genre. His vibrant style of painting is influenced by the old masters, contemporary street art and graffiti culture, together they form a unique, new style of painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
