Selwyn Senatori was born in Pallanza, Italy, in 1973. He attended the High School of Arts in Utrecht, specializing in illustrative design. In addition to illustrating children's books, he also illustrates for large companies. But his great passion remains painting. He is a popular Dutch Neo-pop artist. He paints “La Dolce Vita” or, so to speak, about inspiring things in life. For him, that means good food and a good glass of wine, Italy, music, films, women and design. With his colorful paintings he tells a story about his Italian origins.
His work is very versatile and contains many surprising elements with often written texts. In terms of material, he mostly uses acrylic paint, but also chalk, spray cans, pen, etc.
His unique and contemporary style is a great international success.
He exhibits at home and abroad.
